Reaction to Trump's Recent Gun & Safety School Proposal

President Trump has recently proposed to arm teachers with guns as a safety measure to prevent school shootings in the US. This is completely absurd! More guns in schools is NOT the solution! Teachers are in school to TEACH not SHOOT! For meaningful change to happen in terms of school safety, America needs to admit it has a serious problem with guns and gun violence. Then, and only then, will policies have the potential to truly target the root causes of ongoing mass shootings in America.
